As an educator, I encourage my students to fail often and embrace hard work as a part of engineering.  I believe grit is the most important attribute for an engineer and try to instill that value in my students.  I taught engineering design to freshman undergraduate students and experimental methods to senior undergraduate students.

GEEN 3400 - Invention and Innovation

The purpose of this course is to provide you an introduction to engineering product invention and innovation through a series of projects completed in interdisciplinary teams.  This course focuses on the business aspects of engineering design and introduces you to key aspects of product development like industry research, intellectual property, financial planning, business ethics, etc.
