As a collaboration between Weir Technologies, Otto Bock Healthcare, and the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, this project built a research arm with the capabilities to test advanced human-machine interface technologies. I designed and built the shoulder and humeral rotator assemblies.

Rapid prototyping technologies enable faster design iterations and the manufacturing of previously impossible geometries. I am a trained technician on several state-of-the-art 3D printers including the EOS M270 metal laser sintering machine and the Objet 350 dual-material plastic printer.
